In 5+ years of design engineering (people that design and code) I can safely say that for me the part where I have the most fun is when the project expects a ”beautiful” design, not just visually-beautiful. As Massimo Vignelli says: ”Good design is responsible design”. There is too much crap out there, I can't waste my time designing something not great and useful. And to be able to do that, that's beautiful.
