In 5+ years of designing, I can safely say that the part where I have the most fun is when the project expects a "beautiful" design — not just visually beautiful. As Massimo Vignelli says: "Good design is responsible design." There is too much crap out there; I can't waste my time designing something that is not great and useful. To be able to do that — that's beautiful.
